I'M TRIALLING A NEW FAMILY CHOIR...

If you've arrived here from a QR code or link - welcome! I'm Rosie, a choir leader based in South Bristol. I'm passionate about bringing people together through song, and you can find out more about me, my workshops, choirs and events on the pages of this website.

As a mum of a primary age child, and with lots of 'bairns' from my Folks & Bairns parent and baby choir now being at school, I've been wanting to set up a family choir for a long time.

I'm really excited to do a trial 'pop up' choir in Windmill Hill, initially running for 4 weeks to see how it goes. If there is enough interest, I'll carry on after half term until the summer holidays and potentially continue long term.  I will prepare lots of songs and warm ups from all over the world, suitable for primary age kids and their parents/grandparents/carers of any ability. As a member of the Natural Voice Network I teach everything by ear.

Depending on who comes along, we may be able to add some lovely harmonies, if we have some older children or grown ups who are happy to be taught extra parts. Have a look at my website, my youtube and my People of Note choir youtube to get an idea of the kind of music I like.

St Michael & All Angels Church has loads of toys from the Scramblers playgroup, so if there are non-participating little siblings, they can play quietly with the toys while their big siblings and grown ups sing.

Please note, this is not a drop off choir. Each child is the responsibility of their grown up, and the grown ups are very much part of the choir.

During this trial 4 weeks, you can pay drop in for any session and there is no commitment to come back to another session (but please email to book, and pay me in advance by BACS).
